Ending the Year with a Bang! Day 2

Day 2 Guys! Unfortunately, I’m writing this the same day, the first post came out because Saturday I usually sleep in past 8am. But I will be viewing any comments from the last post. So if you left any comments on the last post or just participated in it by yourself that’s fine. I hope your finding things to be thankful for even to the smallest detail. Also remember each day your thankful for something different!

I’m thankful for:

  • This new editing software that my dad got me
  • Getting my first phone with a network on it
  • The amazing grades I’ve been blessed with
  • That Algebra 2 hasn’t given me to much of a problem and for finishing the first semester with an A
  • The creative photography class I’m taking that allows me to use my camera more.

Although this isn’t written the day it’s going to come out these are things I am genuinely thankful for.

Remember to share this, as it isn’t to late to participate we are only 2 days in! Also, comment what your 5 things are for that day. I will be reading all comments!

Ending the Year with a Bang!!

Over theses past few days it’s come to my attention, that I personally haven’t been giving thanks as much as I should for the things I receive. Personally from me and my family’s perceptive we don’t really celebrate Christmas, although we are people of faith we don’t believe all the Christmas traditions have anything to do with Christ.(No offence to those who celebrate it) So what we do instead is use this as an opportunity to hang with family and still give presents like maybe one or two of what we call the end of the year present which you don’t have to get on Christmas it can be anytime near it. But usually it’s presented to you as your end of the year present. So what happened to me was I got all these presents before Christmas and no one really said here is your end of the year present, so when the day came it felt like I didn’t get any, because there sometimes is like one present I open from my parents maybe on that day or the day before. But when in realty I had already gotten so much from my mom, dad and from a Christmas party I went too. I didn’t count my blessings and say I was thankful. So for the 5 days that are left counting today. I want you to close out this year with a BANG! For 5 days straight I want you to list 5 things or more that either happened this year that your thankful for, or things you already have been blessed with that have happened. The fun thing is we do it together!! So each day I will be posting at 8am and you come back and comment below the things you’re thankful for.

I’ll start:

  • I’m thankful for my new clothes
  • I’m thankful for my new purse backpack
  • I’m thankful for my new basketball board
  • I’m thankful for spending time with my family on Christmas
  • I’m thankful for friends to hangout with

Ending the year with a Bang! Day 5(Last Day!)

Hey guys welcome to day 5. I know this is the most I ever post consecutively, so I understand if it’s a bit overwhelming to keep up with it. I just want to thank you guys. Even though we are few I want to thank you. As I got up early most morning because I remembered I have to get this posted by 8 am. While some days it didn’t work in my favor since the schedule postings didn’t go up when I wanted them to, I did try and post them at 8 am the best I could.

So that being said I hope you guys enjoyed these past 5 days and are really to tackle the new year by storm like I am! On this last day I’m thankful for:

  • I’m thankful for being able to look in the fridge and see food and unfortunately not many people can do that.
  • I’m thankful for you guys who read my blogs this year.
  • I’m thankful for those bloggers who do post to help out new and beginner bloggers.
  • I’m thankful for my health, and that I have to resources to maintain a healthy body.
  • Lastly, I’m thankful for love because without love this world would mostly be a bitter place.

Although it is the last day, it doesn’t mean you have to stop giving thanks. Bring in the new year giving thanks and count your blessings when you sad, happy or mad you might be surprised how many you have and take for granted. So, inspired by the last day of five days of thanks I want to leave you guys with a quote I found.

Homeschooling

You know I’ve been wondering what to post and thought why not talk about my homeschooling. So as a homeschool student while a lot of things are on you. You can take advantage of the opportunities you have. You’re able to set your own schedule, wake up when you want and take breaks when you want. Work in any environment. But beware. If you are thinking of doing homeschooling be aware of the resources you have like being able to take some courses with a highschool and some in FLVS or whatever online school of your choice. Being aware that you can get a guidance counselor! Use the local highschool counselor or even see if you can get a college counselor. Also when you get closer to college make plans to go to different colleges and be aware of the requirements to get into those colleges. So that’s the little bit I have today. If you want more detail into the everyday life of a homeschooler let me know. Comment down below any suggestions or anything you want to talk about.

Liven up the Holidays With Thanksgivings Tennis!!

In the Thanksgiving spirit, there is something me and my family try to do. Every Thanksgiving when we remember we love to go around and say a least one thing we are thankful for. Or one fun thing you can do is play a game called Thanksgiving tennis. Where you go around in a circle and name things your thankful for and you can’t say what someone else’s has said. There is also a certain amount of time you can think to come up with a word. Only so your not sitting there forever and if you don’t within those seconds your out and you keep going faster and faster. It’s a real fun game to play. I suggest you and your family give it a try this Thanksgiving. Let me know if you guys tried it and what you thought of it.

Cute Fox Sketch πŸ¦Š

Hey guys, this is another sketch I’ve done of a nice cute fox 🦊. It’s not as good as I wanted it to be but it’s pretty decent. Also don’t be ashamed if you have to copy another sketch to practice your sketching. As this is what I did for this fox. While I didn’t get everything to exactly what it was. That makes it’s imperfections a little unique. Also know that when you first start sketching something it won’t look exactly like the end result because that not what sketching is. You gotta break the perfectionist mentality at the beginning and be patience with yourself. As sketching is about getting the outline and perfecting and adding detail after you have that outline.

Comment below, or send me one of your sketches you’ve drawn. Or if you want to sketch but you don’t know what to sketch. Comment below!

Wilderness Adventure!

So the weekend is over and I wanted to write a post about my weekend wilderness adventure. I went on a backpacking trip with varsity pathfinders. For those who don’t what pathfinders is it’s a group of boys and girls who do things like girl’s and boy’s scout only it’s Christian centered. So what took place over this weekend was fun and exciting!

First I of course didn’t get to pack properly. I decided hey let me wait till the day of to pack and in doing so and being in a rush to leave the house left a lot of important things needed for this backpacking trip. Bear in mind that it was going to get as low as forty degrees outside. So I ended being cold because I forgot an extra jacket, gloves, and handwarmers.(Also a first aid kit) But thankfully we made fires (safe fires btw) to sit around and I ended up falling asleep near the fire it was nice and toasty ☺️. We also had to make our own shelter and put our food in a tree. Here’s our shelter.

This is front and back of our shelter. Sorry don’t have a picture of our food up in the tree.

Despite being cold and a bit unprepared it was a pretty fantastic weekend. How was your weekend let me know by commenting. I wanna know what you did.
